Dogs' Day in the Park 2023

Will you help us raise $19,000 for our 19th Annual Dogs' Day in the Park?

In 2004, we started our Dogs' Day in the Park fundraiser with the hope of offering a fun event for animals lovers, and fundraising opportunity for the Rescue. 2023 will be the event's 19th year! Join us this year on August 19th, 2023 at the Marge Goodfellow Park at 1 Playground Ave, New Freedom, PA. The event will take place from 10AM to 4PM. Well mannered dogs are welcome! We'll have 75+ vendors and rescues, games and contests, adoptable dogs, lure course, flea market, silent auction, basket raffle, great food and more!

Join us today by making a donation of any amount to animals in need. This special campaign will run until August 31st, 2023. We'll be hosting a special capital campaign from Thursday, August 17th to Saturday, August 19th.

In the past, we hosted the Mutt Strutt, a walk for the animals, the morning of Dogs' Day. While individuals have continued to donate during the event, we've found the actual walk has had decreased attendance over the years. This year, we're simply asking for donations and encouraging our supporters to come and enjoy this wonderful event! More information about the event can be found at animalrescueinc.org.

Since 1976, Animal Rescue, Inc. has been a refuge for homeless cats and dogs. We make a promise to any animal who comes through our gates: They will never be homeless again. We hope our residents will find a loving home with a lifelong companion or a loving family; but if they never find that home, they are welcome to live at our Sanctuary for Life. We also offer crisis intervention and a dedicated feline spay/neuter program.
